Nai Dilli : The Training and Placement Office (TPO) of Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University, organized an enlightening session titled “Preparation & Overview for Placements” to equip students with vital skills for successful campus recruitment.
The event featured Mr. Rohit Priyadarshi, Principal Software Engineer at Arteris, Vice President at a Stealth Startup, and Independent Consultant in Electronic Design Automation, as the keynote speaker. Held under the guidance of Prof. Mohammad Muzammil, Principal, ZHCET, the session offered students a comprehensive understanding of industry expectations.
In his address, Mr. Priyadarshi provided valuable insights into the recruitment process, stressing the importance of strong communication skills, adaptability, and innovative thinking. Sharing motivational alumni success stories, he urged students to develop an “engineering mindset” and position themselves as indispensable contributors in any organization.

The session was coordinated by the TPO team—Mr. Mohd Farhan Saeed (TPO-ZHCET), Prof. Fareed Mahdi, Prof. Saleem Anwar Khan, and Dr. Ale Imran (Assistant TPO). It began with an overview of past placement trends and offered practical strategies to enhance students’ readiness for recruitment drives.
