Sanskrit Dialogue Workshop concluded in Jamia

Nai Dilli : 10-day Sanskrit Conversation Workshop was organized on 2/05/2025 under the joint supervision of Jamia’s Sanskrit Department and Sanskrit Bharti, New Delhi. The ceremony took place in the seminar room from 2.30 pm. The program started with lighting lamps and mangalacharan. Prof. Dhananjay Acharya of Sanskrit Department of Delhi University was present as Chief Guest. The guest was welcomed by the head of the department with a short pushpa and a word flower. Students presented goal songs, experience sentences, Sanskrit songs and Sanskrit dialogue etc in this program.

Sanskrit Department Jamia Millia Islamia in cooperation with Sanskrit Bharti, Delhi launched a historic initiative – ‘Sanskrit Conversation Workshop’ which is from 23 April to 3 May 2025 Being held in Delhi. Mass closing ceremony will be held on 4th May at Delhi University. This campaign of Sanskrit dialogue has been organized all over Delhi under which 1008 Sanskrit dialogue camps are being organized together in various areas of Delhi, giving millions of people the opportunity to connect with Sanskrit directly. Jamia Millia Islamia is known as its linguistic diversity. Dialogue instructor Mr. Lavish (Organization Minister, Sanskrit Bharti, Delhi Province), President of Sanskrit Department Dr. Jay Prakash Narayan, all the teachers and students of the department were present at its inauguration ceremony. The program was inaugurated with lamp lighting and mangalacharan. The department president welcomed all the teachers and students present in the guest and dialogue as well as they enforced the theme of Sanskrit dialogue. All members of the department participated in the conversation class enthusiastically. Dialogue instructor Lavish and Ganesh Dutt Dwivedi (Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Institute instructor) taught students dialogue and songs in Sanskrit language through innovative mediums in simple language.
The program was conducted by research student Haldhar Bhardwaj and thanksgiving Dr. Dhananjay Mani Tripathi. End of the session with Kalyan-Mantra.
