Nai Dilli : Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at AMU ABK High School (Girls), Aligarh Muslim University, to honour the unconditional love and sacrifice of mothers. The Primary Wing of the school marked the occasion with spirited activities aimed at nurturing the social and emotional well-being of the students through expressions of motherly affection and compassion.
In the Senior Section, a special assembly was held where students paid heartfelt tributes to their mothers. They presented touching nazms and performed skits that conveyed deep gratitude and respect.

A notable feature of the celebration was a plantation drive undertaken to commemorate the Government of India’s initiative ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam.’ The plantation was carried out by the Vice Principal and staff members as a tribute to the nurturing spirit of motherhood.
Vice Principal Dr. Saba Hasan expressed appreciation for the efforts of the event coordinator and section in-charges for successfully organizing the event and making the celebration meaningful and memorable.
