AMU’s Dr. Pankaj Kharade Leads Course on Immediate Implant Placement and Bone Grafting

Nai Dilli : Dr. Pankaj Kharade, Department of Prosthodontics at Dr. Z A Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), successfully conducted a highly informative course titled “Clinical Recommendation for Extraction Followed by Immediate Implant Placement and Bone Grafting” at the 27th Indian Prosthodontic Society National PG Convention, held at SGT University in Gurgaon, Haryana.
The session was attended by postgraduate dental students from across India, where Dr. Kharade shared his knowledge on the crucial aspects of immediate implant placement following tooth extraction. He emphasized the advantages of this advanced approach, particularly how it can save valuable time and significantly shorten the duration of the overall rehabilitation process for patients. Immediate implants not only expedite treatment but also help preserve bone structure and improve aesthetic outcomes, while reducing pain and discomfort.
As part of the course, Dr. Kharade demonstrated the practical aspects of placing dental implants and provided an in-depth look at various bone grafting techniques used in conjunction with implants, specifically in recently extracted tooth sites.
