AMU Expresses Solidarity and Praises the Indian Armed Forces for Courageous Response to Pakistan in ‘Operation Sindoor’
Nai Dilli : The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) expresses its unwavering solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces and takes immense pride in their courageous and professional response during the daring ‘Operation Sindoor.’ The operation is a testament to the unparalleled bravery, tactical brilliance, and steadfast commitment of our armed forces, who continue to safeguard India’s sovereignty and security with exceptional skill and determination. AMU salutes their valor and stands firmly with them as they defend our nation with unmatched resolve.
While condemning the tragic terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, AMU also denounces Pakistan’s continued provocations, including its ongoing support for cross-border terrorism and repeated ceasefire violations. Such actions threaten regional peace and blatantly breach international law and human rights.

Commenting on India’s decisive military response, AMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Naima Khatoon stated, “Operation Sindoor is a powerful statement that India stands for zero tolerance to terrorism on its soil. Led by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji, our armed forces have demonstrated to the enemy and the world the credibility of India’s political resolve and the strength of its military capabilities. The measured and non-escalatory nature of India’s actions shows that while it desires peace, it fully reserves the right to defend and protect its sovereignty, and we stand in solidarity with our armed forces.”
Echoing a similar sentiment, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Mohsin added, “Operation Sindoor symbolizes the strength and unity of our armed forces. AMU stands with the nation in honouring their sacrifice and unwavering dedication. We also take pride in the fact that ours is a professional army which has women leading from the front.”
