Nai Dilli : Professor Salma Ahmed, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University, participated in a panel discussion on “Innovative Business Models for Scalable Impact in Achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals” at an International Conference organized by Christ University, NCR.
Focusing on sustainable manufacturing, Prof. Ahmed highlighted the growing shift towards resource-efficient production, circular product design, fibre-based packaging, local sourcing, and renewable energy adoption to reduce environmental impact and enhance sustainability.

She also cautioned against “green washing,” where companies make unverified environmental claims, stressing the importance of authentic commitment to sustainability rather than superficial branding.
