Combined Admission Test for Class XI and Diploma in Engineering Conducted Peacefully

Nai Dilli : The combined admission test for Class XI (Science Stream), Diploma in Engineering, and Class XI (Commerce and Arts/Humanities Stream) was conducted smoothly and without incident at Aligarh Muslim University today. A total of 35 centres in Aligarh facilitated the examination, alongside designated centres in Srinagar, Lucknow, Meerut, Bareilly, Patna, Kolkata, Kishanganj, and Delhi.
A total of 30,502 candidates had applied for Class XI (Science Stream) and Diploma in Engineering, out of which 26,327 appeared for the test in the morning shift.
For the admission test to Class XI (Commerce and Humanities streams), held in the afternoon shift, 7,797 candidates had applied, along with 195 candidates for the Senior Secondary School Bridge Course for Madrasa graduates.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naima Khatoon, accompanied by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. M. Mohsin Khan; Proctor, Prof. M. Wasim Ali; and Member Incharge Public Relations Prof. Vibha Sharma, visited several examination centres, including the RMPS AMU City School, Arts Faculty, STS School, and Saiyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys), to review the arrangements and ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

During the visits, Prof. Khatoon interacted with parents and guardians of the candidates and emphasized the importance of strict adherence to examination procedures and guidelines.
Dr. Mujib Ullah Zuberi, Controller of Examination, commended the efforts of faculty members and support staff, acknowledging their crucial role in facilitating a peaceful and well-organized admission test process.
To ensure smooth conduct at all centres, senior faculty members were appointed as observers at local centres and overall incharges at centres outside Aligarh. Additionally, volunteers from the National Service Scheme (NSS), NGOs, students, and non-teaching staff organized special help centres to provide water and other essential facilities to parents and guardians accompanying the candidates.
