CNMS launches ‘NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad’ National Dialogue 12 Series to Begin on June 18; Inaugural Session Focuses on Women-Led Development

New Delhi, June 13, 2026: “Woman is the mother of the three worlds. She is the living embodiment of the three worlds. She is the foundation of the entire universe and the true form of Shakti (power). Over the past 12 years, the Narendra Modi Government has worked consistently towards promoting women-led development, a transformation that is visible across all sectors.”

Reflecting one of the defining themes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance. Marking twelve years of the Narendra Modi government, the Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS), in collaboration with Dr. Ambedkar International Centre under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The inaugural session of the ‘NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad’ series, titled “From Welfare to Women-Led Development,” is being dedicated to the birth anniversary of MAA Heeraben Modiji will be organised on June 18 at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

The seminar marks the launch of a nationwide dialogue series initiated by the Centre for NaMo Studies. The objective of the series is to engage academicians, students, researchers, policymakers, and youth in meaningful discussions on the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Announcing the Dialogue series, Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman of the Centre for NaMo Studies, said that India has witnessed a historic transformation—from viewing women merely as beneficiaries of welfare schemes to recognising them as active participants and leaders in the nation’s development journey.

He stated that the Centre for NaMo Studies is the first voluntary organisation in the country to systematically highlight and document the Modi Government’s efforts towards women-led development.

Prof. Jasim Mohammad remarked, “The journey from women-centric welfare to women-led development is one of the most significant transformations of New India. Today, women are not merely beneficiaries of government initiatives; they are emerging as decision-makers, entrepreneurs, innovators, elected representatives, and leaders across diverse sectors.”

Co Convenor of the Session Prof. Divya Tanwar said, “The vision of a Viksit Bharat cannot be realised without the active participation and leadership of women. Through the ‘NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad’ series, we seek to bring together scholars, students, researchers, and thinkers to review the policies, achievements, challenges, and opportunities that shape India’s development journey.”

According to Dr Deeba, Associates of Session, the dialogue series will serve as an intellectual platform for constructive discussions on key themes such as governance, social justice, economic growth, innovation, youth empowerment, sustainability, and inclusive development.

The ‘NaMo Viksit Bharat Samvad’ series will continue from June 18 to September 17, featuring discussions on a wide range of topics related to nation-building and India’s roadmap towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

Jawaid Rahmani noted that the Government’s efforts are rooted in the principles of dignity, opportunity, and empowerment. He stated that these initiatives have created an enabling environment in which women can realise their full potential and contribute more effectively to nation-building.

Speaking on the broader objective of the initiative, Research Scholar of JMI Tushita Bhandari said the series will encourage constructive discussions on governance, social justice, economic growth, innovation, youth empowerment, sustainability, and inclusive development.
