CNMS Invites Delhi Colleges to Host Conferences on Strategic Integration of AI in Education; Hosts to Get Rs One Lakh Support
The Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) has invited Expressions of Interest (EoI) from colleges and educational institutions across Delhi-NCR to host a series of two-day conferences on the theme, “Strategic Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education: Opportunities, Challenges and Implications.”
The conference series, proposed across the North, South, East and West zones of Delhi-NCR, will focus on AI-enabled teaching and learning, curriculum transformation, future skills, AI-driven research and innovation, institutional governance and data-informed decision-making. The programme will also address the ethical, social and equity-related dimensions of AI in education.
According to Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, CNMS, the initiative is aligned with the broader objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, particularly its emphasis on innovation, technology-enabled learning, multidisciplinary education and preparing students for emerging challenges and opportunities.
Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman, CNMS, said the initiative is intended to encourage meaningful academic dialogue on how AI can be integrated into education in a responsible, innovative and future-oriented manner. CNMS will provide financial assistance of Rupees One lakh to each selected host college/institution for conducting the conference.
Prof. Divya Tanwar, Co-Coordinator, EoI Research Programme, CNMS, said, interested institutions have been asked to submit their EoI indicating their preferred zone, two proposed sets of dates, institutional preparedness and relevant experience, and details of the nodal/coordinating officer. The EoI may be submitted by October 31, 2026, through email at namostudies@gmail.com
Research Associate Tushita Bhandari said, selected host institutions will work in coordination with CNMS and will be responsible for organising the two-day conference in college premises, managing logistics, facilitating participation of relevant stakeholders and preparing a detailed report of the proceedings.
