AMU’s Abdullah School Observes Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada with Awareness Programme

Nai Dilli : As part of the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada campaign, Abdullah School, Aligarh Muslim University, organised a comprehensive awareness programme to educate staff and the school community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
Leading the session, the Superintendent, Ms. Umra Zaheer highlighted the grave risks associated with substance abuse, including its impact on physical and mental health, interpersonal relationships, and overall well-being. She emphasised the importance of proactive, collective efforts in achieving the campaign’s vision of a “Drug Free India by 2047.”
She also administered a pledge against drug abuse, reinforcing dedication to the goals of the campaign. An awareness video was shared with students and parents to disseminate key messages of the campaign further and engage the larger school community.
The initiative also marked the upcoming International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, a globally recognized day that underscores the urgency of the campaign.
