AMU School Hosts Awareness Programme on Ending Plastic Pollution

Nai Dilli : Saiyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys), Aligarh Muslim University, organized an awareness programme on the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution Globally”, which was attended by the teaching and non-teaching staff as well as students.
Officiating Vice Principal Mr. Mohd Javed Khan addressed the gathering, emphasizing that plastic pollution poses both immediate and long-term environmental threats. He urged students to take local, actionable steps to reduce plastic dependence.

Hisham and Mohd Shoab, students of Class XII highlighted the global urgency of curbing plastic use. Mr. Sabahuddin, Incharge, Geography, explained the harmful effects of plastic on human health, society, and the environment, and discussed practical measures to mitigate the problem.
The programme was conducted by Mrs. Zainab Arjumand Waseem, Mrs. Ayesha Imran, and Capt. Najaf Ali Khan.
