AMU Organizes Free Health Camp for Diabetes and Metabolic Disorder Screening

Nai Dilli : The Department of Moalijat, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organized a free health camp for screening Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders in collaboration with AIMIL Pharmaceuticals.
The department conducted the camp within its premises and provided free health check-ups to 80 patients. The medical team screened patients for blood sugar levels and evaluated risks associated with metabolic syndrome, including blood pressure and Body Mass Index (BMI). They also encouraged patients to visit the Moalijat OPD for proper diagnostic workup and further treatment.
Prof. Badrudduja Khan, Chairman of the Department of Moalijat, supervised the camp, while Dr. S. Javed Ali coordinated the event. Dr. Humaira Bano, Dr. Hamza Ahmad, Dr. Nabeela Khatoon, Dr. Asra Sadique, Dr. Tabi Idris Siddiqui, and postgraduate scholars of Mahir-e-Tib (Doctor of Medicine), along with Mr. Mohd. Ubair Khan, an intern of Kamil-e-Tib-o-Jarahat (BUMS), offered free consultations to the patients.
