Young Changemaker Alisha Ansari Working at Grassroots to Support Education and Women Empowerment

“Work Should Reach People, Not Just Stay in Words”: Alisha Ansari’s Grassroots Efforts for Education and Empowerment

Saharanpur/New Delhi: Alisha Ansari, a UPSC aspirant, is quietly working at the grassroots level to support underprivileged families, especially young girls. Through her initiative, Nanhi Kiran Trust, she has been helping children continue their education and manage basic needs. Speaking about her work, she said, “I’m not doing anything big, just trying to do my bit with whatever I can.” Her efforts remain focused on direct community support rather than visibility.

Alisha Ansari completed her graduation in Political Science from Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur, and has maintained a consistent academic record since school. Alisha Ansari says her interest in social issues developed early and stayed with her. “What we study should actually help us understand people and their problems,” she said, adding that she prefers learning through real-life experiences as much as from books.

Apart from her studies, she is also active on social media, where she speaks about education and women-related issues in a simple and relatable way. She often interacts with young girls and encourages them to continue their studies. “If someone feels motivated or supported after talking to me, that itself is enough,” she said.
